The role

We’re looking for an ambitious mid-to-senior level talent acquisition specialist with substantial experience recruiting world-class tech talent (agency or in-house) to join the REMY Robotics team at our headquarters in Barcelona as our Head of Talent Acquisition.

At REMY, we’re working right at the cutting edge of robotics and food tech. Because of the specialised nature of our work, there’s no one city that has the level and variety of talent we need to succeed – so the Head of Talent Acquisition is essential to ensuring we identify, attract and hire the very best talent from around the world.

The Head of Talent Acquisition role is a unique opportunity in that you’ll get the chance to build REMY’s talent acquisition strategy from scratch, selecting the right agency partners for our business, deciding which recruitment channels to trial and focus on, picking the tools to streamline and supercharge our recruitment process and, of course, interviewing plenty of candidates. Crucially, this role is our first dedicated talent acquisition hire – so you must be ready to get hands-on at first, before building out your own team when the time’s right.

We’re an unconventional startup working at the intersection of robotics, culinary R&D and operations, so along with your experience in tech recruitment, a passion for food, startup culture, new technologies and building teams is a big plus.

Our employee headcount is currently at 35, made up of people from 15 countries specialised in a range of areas including Adaptive Robotics and AI, Simulation, Mechatronics, Software Engineering and Culinary R&D. While our team’s from all over the world, English is our company language and fluency in English is essential for this role. We have big plans for the rest of the year – international expansion, development of a B2C platform and major improvements to our robotic solutions – and we’ll need to grow our team substantially to achieve these.
