Who We Are

REMY Robotics is a food tech startup creating technology and food concepts for the food-delivery world: we develop our own technology around robotics, artificial intelligence and connected equipment as well as our own virtual food brands. We operate multiple delivery-only autonomous robotic kitchens (we call them Nodes) where our customers’ orders and delicious food are cooked and prepared with the highest efficiency and consistency. We have an amazing team of engineers and chefs making this possible and the only piece missing is you :)

The role

We are currently expanding our network of Nodes and are looking for people to help manage the day-to-day operations in them (work will start at the end of August 2021). Our mission is to serve tasty and high-quality food to our customers and deliver it to them in record time and for that the role of our Node Specialist is key!

Your role is to ensure perfect operation - from the moment we receive an order until it is handed to a rider. Your main tasks are:

  • Pack orders that have been prepared by our technology (no cooking on your side)
  • Communicate and hand orders to delivery riders
  • Solve any questions or issues our customers may have on the phone
  • Monitor and refill stock of our kitchen according to internal procedures
  • Receive shipments from our suppliers and store them accordingly
  • Fix any issues in the kitchen remotely guided by the REMY Support team
  • Maintain an orderly, organized and efficient workplace (e.g. a clean Node!)

What will make you a great candidate

  • You speak English and Spanish fluently: you can have a phone conversation in both languages perfectly
  • You are hands-on, meticulous and take care of whatever task you do, whether it’s preparing an order for the customer or cleaning the Node
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, especially during food delivery peak hours
  • You communicate efficiently with delivery riders, customers, delivery platforms and the REMY support team
  • You have a flexible schedule and are open to working on weekends and holidays
  • You are reliable, independent and can find solutions to problems

What success means in this role

  • You always ensure that orders are handed to riders in perfect condition
  • Your interactions with customers and riders are smooth and help solve any issues: you are a customer service champion!
  • You are up-to-date with our operational standards and apply them correctly following our guide (and maybe even suggest improvements)
  • You maintain optimal cleanliness and an organized environment in the Node as you feel it as your second home
  • You have a great capacity to adapt to change and to unexpected scenarios
